About Me

I am committed to providing a robust and secure database system for my customers and as such, I proactively maintain and monitor the database system to prevent any potential issues; accurately diagnose and forecast the database system health and capacity; quickly respond to support request(s) and persistently seek innovative ways to improve database work efficiency and quality.

My interest in becoming a data professional began back in 2008. I used to manage excel spreadsheets with VBA macros and made the exciting jump into database and systems administration in 2011. I’m working towards my MCSE Certifications in SQL Server. Afterwards I’m looking to dive deep into data analytics with Python and possibly PowerBI.

I’m a nerd at heart, I play with Raspberry Pi’s, work on home automation, and of course, spend lots of time learning as much as I can about data! When I’m not running in a race I’m logging my race data and configuring a PowerBI powered dashboard with MySQL on a home server to further my skills in analytics.
